Nona L. Ostrove established the Law Offices of Nona L. Ostrove, LLC in 2011. This followed a very successful career as a partner with Subranni, Ostrove, and Zauber since the year 1989.
After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Allegheny College with a double major in History and French, Ms. Ostrove continued on to Rutgers Law School in Newark. She was admitted to practice in New Jersey in 1979, and Pennsylvania in 1988. Ms. Ostrove is also admitted to practice before the Federal District Court for the District of New Jersey, Eastern District of Pennsylvania, Third Circuit Court of Appeals and the U.S. Supreme Court. After graduating from law school, she clerked for the late Honorable Robert A Matthews, Presiding Judge, Appellate Division.
Ms. Ostrove is active in the Bankruptcy Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Assocaiation, where she was co-chair of the Pro Bono Committee for eight years. She is chair of the Debtor-Creditor Section of the Camden County Bar Association. She organized and moderated the annual Camden County Bankruptcy Bench Bar Conference for 17 years. She is on the list of approved mediators for the Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey. She has also spoken at seminars and authored materials for the Camden County Bar Association program Legal Line, broadcast over local cable networks and is a former member of the Lawyers Advisory Committee for the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of New Jersey.
She is a member of the Community Association Institute (CAI) and has spoken on collection issues at the annual legal symposium, sponsored by the Delaware Valley Chapter and presented a program on "Board Member Boot Camp" at the May, 2013 Expo for the Delaware Valley Chapter of CAI. She actively represents condominium and home owner associations in all phases of their legal work, including collection of delinquent accounts.
She continues to concentrate her practice in the areas of bankruptcy, community association law, other commercial litigation, and related work.
